By using the services of Inkosi Distribution Services (Pty) Ltd, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions, which govern all aspects of our logistics and courier operations. Our services are subject to a formal agreement outlining pricing, scope, cancellation policies, and other key terms. We reserve the right to refuse service that violates laws, compromises safety, or exceeds our operational capacity. Clients are responsible for loading and unloading unless specifically agreed otherwise, and must ensure that our vehicles have clear access to the collection and delivery points. All items must be packed and ready before collection, as we do not provide boxes or packaging materials.
Payment terms include a 50% non-refundable deposit upon loading, with the remaining balance due upon delivery. While our vehicles are fully insured, clients should note that Goods in Transit Insurance (GIT) provides limited coverage. GIT covers items only while the truck doors are closed during active transport—from pickup departure to delivery arrival. It does not cover items during loading or unloading, and any loss or damage during these phases is the client’s responsibility. Additionally, items reported as missing or damaged after the driver has departed will not be covered. In the event of loss or damage due to hijacking, theft, or accidents during transit, a deductible of R7,500 applies.
We strongly recommend that clients obtain personal insurance for goods of high value, as GIT is limited to a total value of R200,000 per load and excludes poorly packaged items. Please be aware that our insurer, Santam, will not honour claims if goods were not properly packed for transportation.

We reserve the right to amend or update these terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take immediate effect upon being posted on our website. This agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
